It's a true dock and it comes with the cable that hooks up to the stand. It works with my iPhone with an Otterbox Defender Series & Apple Bumper Case. This stand is made out of solid aluminum so it's very sturdy. Beauty and function in one package!

Powermat 2X Wireless Charging Mat Review

Powermat 2X Wireless Charging Mat
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I received this for a Mothers Day present from my DH. I it took me a long while to figure it out. After reading the brief directions and still being confused (how is it wireless?) I went to the website. What I figured out is this: You plug the mat itself in to an electrical outlet. You then have to plug each device into that mat either thourgh the one USB port on the side or with the one univeral receiver provided. To charge more devices at the same time you will need to purchase (at approx $30 each) additional universal receivers that will plug into your additinal devices. If you want true wireless charging you will need to purchase a device specific receiver for each device at approx. $40 each. And they don't offer wireless chargers for that many devices at this time. They state that more are coming in '10 and that they hope that in the future the chip will just be built into phones, MP3, etc. At this time I feel it is a "what is the point of this?" kinda of device. Way too expensive to do what you can do for free with the provided cords on your phone, etc.
So, I will be returning my thoughtful present and maybe in 5 or 10 years I will get another one, when they actual do what they say they will do for a reasonable price.

I purchased a pair of these for my Panasonic Viera. I already have a pair of Panasonic 3d glasses and these worked just the same. They actually fit better than the Panasonic brand. I would recommend these a cheaper alternative to the Panasonic glasses.

Clear mCover® Hard Shell Case (with Hard Screen Protector) for Apple iPad tablet (WiFi & 3G models, compatible with Apple original Dock and Keyboard dock) Review

Clear mCover® Hard Shell Case (with Hard Screen Protector) for Apple iPad tablet (WiFi and 3G models, compatible with Apple original Dock and Keyboard dock)

I bought this cover in purple as I will be traveling and wanted the entire screen protected when I store my ipad. The cover fits perfectly and the back is vented, providing extra value since overheating has been identified as a concern during hot weather, or with extended use of the ipad. I have owned other covers made my this company, and they are invariably well-made. Normally, I order soft covers for my electronics, but this works perfectly for protection of the glass screen of this pricy device!

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101 Keyboard/Docking Station Review

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101 Keyboard/Docking Station
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've had this keyboard for 2 days now. The build quality on the keyboard itself is great and really makes your transformer look like a netbook. There is no flex in the keyboard which I have seen on my expensive laptops. It is only 8% smaller than a standard keyboard so it's been pretty easy for me to type on. In fact I'm typing this review from my keyboard now. The chicklet keys are great and make it much easier to figure out which key your finger is on. The usb ports recognize my ntfs formatted usb hard drive. I don't have an SDXC card to test it out but from what I'm seeing it should be able to read those cards to giving you a big boost in memory in case you could only pick up the 16gb Transformer like most people so far. The trackpad is nice and responsive but a bit too sensitive. I have found my thumbs inadvertantly hitting the trackpad, but you can disable the trackpad and use a usb mouse or bluetooth mouse with your transformer, pluss the touchscreen still works great. There are plenty of dedicated android buttons. Including a screenshot button brightness, volume, media player wifi, bluetooth, home screen, internet, and menu buttons. Having the ctrl buttons are great when I'm using splashtop to control my PC from my Transformer. Too bad it's missing a recent apps key, but that's always on your screen to click anyway.
Now to the software glitches that keep me from giving this five stars. There are times I've had the keybaord stop responding and have had to remove the transformer and put it back in to get it back on. Also it inadvertantly disables wifi even though my finger was nowhere near that key. Others are having this issue to, and disabling the trackpad seems to reduce the frequency by which it happens, and we're hearing Asus has already heard of the issue and is looking into it. This should be able to be fixed with software considering the keyboard itself even has it's own firmware.
Also another thing to note is that since the Transformer is heavier than the dock it is a bit screen heavy but Asus seems to have alleviated most of this issue with the way that the whole part that connects to the transformer itself also protudes out the bottom to act as a stand to angle the keyboard and help shift some of the weight.
Overall it's a great accessory. Adds 7 hours of battery life, holds your screen up for you, has 2 usb ports and a full size SD card slot. It's obvious Asus really thought about the design of this dock, and it wasn't simply designed to be an added keyboard, but to give your Transformer that netbook feel with a screen that is better than any I've seen on a netbook.
Update 5-9-2011
I've been using the keyboard for 5 days now and wanted to post an update to the software issues I mentioned. For some reason mine have seen to gone away. I can leave the trackpad enabled and have no issues with it losing keyboard or trackpad connectivity, and it's stopped randomly disabling the wifi, so I upped my rating to 5 stars.
Update: 6-11-2011
Been over a month with the keyboard. Asus has an update to the keyboard firmware that fixed a few issues the keyboard was having. I wish there was a battery meter built in on the dock, but there are some widgets out over at XDA that handle this. Keyboard still types very solidly. The battery on the keyboard is great. Sometimes I'll charge just the dock so I can use the tablet away from the wall, then when the dock is done charging plug the transformer into the dock and charge while typing away with buddies on google chat. I probably dock and undock my keyboard over 3-6 times a day and the mechanism is still solid and works very well. This is a great sign since Asus has said this keyboard dock will work with future transformer tablets. That's great knowing I can use my most expensive and favorite accessory going forward.

PowerMat Home and Office Charging Mat in Retail Packaging Review

PowerMat Home and Office Charging Mat in Retail Packaging
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The premise for this product was a good idea....who dosent tire of trying to keep up with the charging cords, not to mention finding outlets for all the gadgets that require charging these day? The makers of the Powermat say they can free you from all of that. The outside of the box shows the Powermat with a blackberry, a DS and a cell phone sitting on top of it. It states you can charge up to 3 items on the Powermate, freeing your outlets, clearing the clutter of tangled cords.
Opening the box you will find the Charging mate as pictured, a power cord that plugs into the wall, 7 adapter tips that they explain you can use for your older electronic devices that may not be compatable with the Mat. (I thought that was nice to include those) a seperate magnetic square disk that these different tips have to be plugged into and then the disk is set on the powermate to charge your items.
The directions are simple It says that you will fill a small magnetic pull when the items are placed on the mat correctly along with a beep. I do this.....I set my ds, my cell phone and blackberry on this grid just like it is pictured on the box......nothing. Reading further, it states that some items might require the included adapter tips to use with the Powermate Whoa! what? I go back to the box check the picture again, it does not show any adapter attached to the pictured items, It shows the items sitting on top of the mat.
This is where the deception....and yes rip-off comes in...you will need a seperate one of these small magnetic power disks cords for each item you want to charge. That is really what those tips are for, you never place the actual items on the grid as is pictured! just the magnetic power disk. Extra disk sell here for 29.00, (they spot you one). Once plugged in you still have the clutter of power disk cords, and your items cannot be placed on the mat as shown, they have to go on the table, because the magnetic disk have to go on the mat to generate the charge and does that not take you right back to what you were trying to get away from in the first place? Uhgh! You could easily exceed $140 or more using this thing in its present form. Not worth it to me.
