This DS back is very nice, and feels durable and well as only adding to the bulk of the unit slightly, however it would prevent it from being put into most DS protective cases. I don't have one, but I could see this being a problem. Also, it is a little annoying that the charger input isn't accessible when the back is on, so if I want to use my car charger I have to remove the entire back.
However, I do love the charging system and I'm very glad I bought this product to go with it!
