(More customer reviews)When I ordered my IPad2 on the first day it was available for sale, I immediately realized that I would need more to protect it when I carried it in my purse than just the smart cover. At the time, there were few third-party offerings for covers and sleeves to fit the new model iPad. I checked M-Edge as I'd previously had a kindle cover to see if they'd put out anything. I was pleased to see that the Touring Sleeve, originally designed for the first iPad was roomy enough to fit the iPad2 with its smart cover (due to the thinner profile of the new iPad, it is essentially the same thickness as the original iPad when the smart cover is on).
A nice bonus feature of the sleeve is the zipper pocket on one side that is just big enough to hold the charger and cord, the camera connector, and even my set of Sony ear buds that come in a convenient mini-case. In addition, the zipper is nicely designed so that you can attach the charger while still having the iPad tucked neatly in the sleeve.
With all that, the sleeve fully loaded fits nicely in my large purse and with the zipper on top I can easily take my IPad in and out of the sleeve while the sleeve stays in the purse. And the neoprene is nice and protective against the hard knocks of iPad life.
All in all, a very well thought out product, with quality design and materials. I have it in red, but I do wish it came in some more interesting colors than it does.
