(More customer reviews)This adapter was purchased in haste so I didn't do the research. Upon further research, it's definitely not for the iPad. The iPad requires a 10W charger and this is definitely for the iPod/iPhones since it's a 5W. From 0% to 92% it's taken 3 solid days of charging. So it works in a pinch, but as another reviewer suggested buy the real iPad adapter from Apple or someone else.
