This is a non slip holder for cell phones, mp3 players and such like, to sit on your desk and charge.
It comes with a lead to plug into your PC so devices that can charge thru a USB connection can recharge - magic.
Now for the Zune HD owners out there who like me are perplexed at why Microsoft would have the headphone jack at the bottom of the device which makes it impossible to prop up on your desk so you can see what you're listening too when bashing away on the computer.
This thing allows your Zune to sit nicely at a 45 degree viewing angle and sits an inch and a half off of the desk allowing the headphone jack and usb connection dongle to sit quite happily.
It looks professional sitting on my desk at work and with it attached to my PC it can charge my Zune. With its 4 USB ports it effectively acts as a hub, so I can put my flash drive in and out with ease also.
As others state, it doesn't come with a wall charger, which for $10 isn't a fall out of bed surprise.
In short, this is the best $10 I've spent in a long time, don't let the reviews put you off
